Where Has The Concept Of Customer Service Gone?...

  I really love this new fangled thing called "technology."
  I love being able to order my groceries via computer and having them delivered to my front door.
   I love "two day free shipping" and being able to deposit checks to my bank by simply taking a picture and hitting "Enter".
  That's all great.
  What really steams my onions is that "brick and mortar"  restaurants and grocery stores fail to teach their employees the simple concept of "customer service."
  People, it's not hard to understand...
  Greet people with a "Hi, my name is Agnes (or whatever), what can I do to serve you?"
  Say "please" and "thank you"...when the loudspeaker at the drive thru window isn't working post a sign announcing this so people don't wait in line for nothing...
  (This actually happened at a "Steak and Shake" recently.)
  Be polite and courteous actually fuels profits and get this...MORE BUSINESS!
  Put down the phones and serve your customers, for crying out loud!
 ...Ok...that is the end of this rant...for now...
