Thus time of year, I always wax nostalgic...
("Wax nostalgic?"...what is this, the 40's?...)
It is almost the end of tax season, and I think of the wonderful women I worked with at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service on 18th and Market Street for 8 years.
Ask anyone that came in to that building. They were the best group of ladies on the planet.
Wanda, Kim, Linda, Loretta, Chonna, Amanda, Terri and Sandra. I love and miss each one of 'em.
No matter how bad I felt, one or all of them managed to put a smile on my face. There was a period when I had my two strokes, and when I returned to work, I had never felt so much love and caring from friends at work.
...and I have been employed for over 30 years...
So today, I tip a glass of Maker's Mark to the ladies of Jackson Hewitt...
