I spent last Saturday morning watching live CNN coverage of the student's march to demand gun control.
They billed it as "The March For Our Lives."
When I watched these kids marching all over the country...in Louisville and Washington and Florida...and around the world, it gave me hope.
Hope ...that this world isn't going to hell in a hand basket.
Hope,,,that these students and teachers and parents really CARE about education and safety in the classrooms.
Hope...that people still know how to march for the common good .
It filled me with pride and made me smile to see these young folk speak in eloquent tones and being themselves. One young woman was so overwhelmed, she threw up right in the middle of her speech.
That is sheer passion, right?
I believe this is only the beginning. We ain't seen nothing yet...
