There has been talk of adding amendments to the US Constitution to make it more feasible in a modern world. I have also discovered that there are laws still on the books is several states that...well...just don't make sense...
For example: In New Hampshire, State law prohibits registering at a hotel under an assumed name. (What!).
In New Jersey, a woman could be fined $50.00 for pumping gas at a self-serve station.
In Missouri, it's a Class A misdemeanor if you engage , promote, or advertise bear wrestling. (OMG!)
It is forbidden to post ads on tombstones in Wells, Maine...but in Vermont, there is a law that states there will never be a law to ban clotheslines...
