Simply put...it made more sense.
The late great Prince produced some of the greatest songs in the 80s..."Purple Rain"..."When Doves Cry" and "1999" are just a smidgeon of his many hits.
But wait...there's more...
What about Falco's "Amadeus?"...Madonna's "Like A Virgin?"...Lionel Ritchie's "All Night Long?"...Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" and "Thriller"?....
Those songs with the synthesizers and hand claps still are a big part of me.
Today's songs are OK, but all the artists are all alike. Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood? which one is which?
No...for my money, I'll take 80s and music from the 50s through the 60s any day of the week.
