I had the great fortune of being introduced to a great band by the name of 'Slow Down Johnny."
I got introduced via a CD of the same name.
My brother Rodney met one of the members of the band and gave it to me to review.

This collection of music baffled me at first listen...was it bluegrass, alternative or country...until I heard the banjo and strains of a steel guitar...it leans more toward country.
The band members are Rob Collier on bass and vocals, Chris Rodahaffer on guitar, banjo, pedal steel and vocals and last but not least, Tavis Conley on drums and vocals.
This guys have put together a complete package of smooth songs like "Shades of Home" and a bouncy cut called , "Long Ago."
Other memorable cuts include "The Song The River Sings", 'Sign Of The Times", and "So Many Days."
I would give this collection 4 out of 5 stars.
