An open letter to The University of Louisville:
Dear Sirs:
I am ashamed.
When the news of the self-imposed post season ban was announced, I cried a little.
Not for your mega million profitable sports program, but for the two fifth year seniors who came to Louisville to play in a NCAA Tourney and had it snatched away from them...
I cried for all the huge fans...including my brother Wayne, who has followed your sports programs since the great Denny Crum days and cheered without fear of repercussions.
I cried for the recruits who will now think twice about coming to a " tainted school."
I cried because I truly believe that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Louisville...I am ashamed.
