Dave Letterman will wrap up his TV life when 'The Late Show", airs for the last time Wednesday May 20.
There will be a special about Dave On CBS May 4th at 9:30 PM.
I get a little choked up when I talk of all this, cause I am gonna really miss Dave's brand of comedy .
This was a guy who threw watermelons off the roof of the Ed Sullivan Building...who put on a Velcro suit and threw his self on a wall to see it it would stick (it did).
This is a guy who introduced me to Jack Hanna, Amy Sedaris, The Piedmont Bird Callers, Kid Scientists, The Top Ten List, Paul Shaffer and his World's Most Dangerous Band...
What else? Stupid Pet Tricks...Stupid Human Tricks...The feud with Sarah Palin....
I will never watch late night again until someone of his intelligence and humor graces us again, and that will probably be never.
