Everybody is talking about the new law for parking downtown on Saturdays. The meters must be used and it will put around $100,000 in the city's coffers.

This has got to be one of the stupidest things I have ever heard.
It is hard enough to get people downtown on the weekends, why make them pay?
Is losing attendance at special events and ball games and festivals really worth $100,000? I don't think so...
