Back in the mid-seventies, Linda Ronstadt was known as the "Queen of Remakes."
All her hits were popular songs done by others, from Buddy Holly's 'That'll Be The Day" and "It's So Easy", to Smokey Robinson's, "Ooh, Baby, Baby."
Well I just bought a greatest hits album of hers and there's even more.
Linda was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame and I can't think of anyone who deserves it as much as her.
I just found out that she is now suffering from Parkinson's Disease and has lost control of her beautiful, powerful vocal instrument.
Thank God we still have all of these fantastic recordings...
