Chelsea Handler zinged Piers Morgan on his own show calling the British newsman a "terrible interviewer."
"The Chelsea Lately" host was a guest on "Piers Morgan Live
," and the chat turned a little uncomfortable after Handler criticized the former tabloid editor's interviewing skills. The funnywoman, who interviews guests on her own talk show, told the host, "You can't even pay attention for 60 seconds. You're a terrible interviewer," promoting Morgan to retort, "Well, you just weren't keeping my attention."
Handler shot back, "That's not my problem ... This is your show. You have to pay attention to the guests that you invited on your show ... It doesn't matter how interesting I am. You signed up for this job."
Handler then took a swipe at Morgan's show, which is going off-air soon after being canceled by CNN, adding, "Maybe that's why your job is coming to an end," prompting Morgan to laugh and exclaim, "Wow." After the interview, Morgan sent Handler a message via Twitter, writing, "If I'm such a 'terrible interviewer'... how come everyone's now tweeting & debating our interview... mwah x."
