I have never been a fan of the Winter Olympics...always the Spring, but Saturday night I was sort of bored, so I tuned in to NBC to see what was going on.
First up, there was women's ice-skating and I saw an Italian woman skate a beautiful short program to 'Ave Maria.'
Incredible.
Then I saw Mogul Skiing for the women and two Canadian sisters finished first and second and the favored American finished third.
Riveting.
When the 19 year old girl won, it was the most excited I have seen an athlete in a long time...never saw an athlete skip...
Next up for me...curling...
