Sunday afternoon I was sitting around, loafing (!)(?) and watching TV.
There was a show on called "Profiles" and it featured Brother Al Green.
In one segment Green sang a song called "You;re Perfect To Me"...and I had tears flowing from my eyes.
That is what a good song does to a person.
A new friend of mine and I had this conversation last week and he was saying how he loved songs like "My Girl" and such. Songs used to have meaning, didn't they?
You think people will shed a tear to "All I Want For My Birthday Is A Big Booty Ho" 20 years from now?
Nope...
