OK...last night the winner of "Idol" was announced and it is...Candice Glover! ...congratulations to her.
What I am going to do with this blog entry is to offer suggestions on how to take "Idol" back to the heights it achieved when Simon Cowell. Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson were the judges.
My suggestions are...
#1-Let the judges in on the final vote.
#2- Use more contemporary songs as well as the classics.
#3- New judges?,,,Gladys Knight, a past idol participant (Clay Aiken?), and a country singer (Reba?, Dolly Parton?...).
Institute one or all of these suggestions and I'll guarantee "Idol" will be on top again.
