I watched a DVR version of the Billboard Awards yesterday and I was thrilled to see Prince get the "Icon Award."
The man still has it.
Backed by a female band of a bass guitar player, a drummer and another guitarist, Prince played a mash-up of a new version of "Let's Go Crazy" ...a psychedelic version and with his Afro, shades and fringed vest, he sorta looked like a younger version of Jimi Hendrix.
Cool baby, cool.
It is simply amazing to me how a guy around 54 still has it.
