As I was watching SNL a couple of years ago, I noticed it was a rerun or "encore presentation" and the musical guests were a band called "The Ting Tings".
"The Ting Tings??!!...
As I eagerly awaited their performance and finally saw them, I was amazed. The group consists of a guy and a girl and lots of musical instruments and percussion.
They sang a song called "That's Not My Name", and I was immediately hooked.
So hooked, that I bought the CD, "We Started Nothing."
Well, the "Tings" have a new lp out now called "Sounds From Nowheresville" and it is making as much noise as the previous one.
I saw them perform a song on "Letterman" last week and they were again terrific. The Ting Tings are turning into one of my favorite bands.
