Remember a band called Air Supply?
Back in the early 1980s, this was a band that specialized in soaring vocals, great instrumentation and wonderful harmonies...
Well when you think of it, that description could apply to anyone from Styx to REO Speedwagon.
But, there was something about Air Supply. The songs were incredible..."Lost In Love", "I'm All Out Of Love", "Even The Nights Are Better", and the astounding "Here I Am."
They reached the top of the Pop charts and were on all the talk shows.
On an episode of Letterman about a year ago, Dave asked Paul Shaffer to play "Lost In Love." Until then I had forgotten how great they were.
I bought the "Greatest Hits" cd and I was taken back to the early '80s.
The trip was incredible...
