I found out that my Late Night Hero, David Letterman's last show will be May 20th.
That is going to leave a void in my world...more on that Friday.
I also found out that a friend and hero of mine, Pam Platt, Editorial Editor of The Louisville Courier-Journal Newspaper is leaving on May 1,
What the hell is going on?
Pam's departure came out of the blue. She is such a great writer and a great administrator. She ran a Haiku section every year of which I am a faithful contributor and she has helped me out of a newspaper carrier jam or two.
I met her when I served on the Reader's Advisory Board in 2008...a great woman.
Dave,,,Pam...who's next?
