When I first started working at Carton Craft in 1977...I was assigned to train on a machine called a "straight cutter".
It was was a machine with a 70" long blade that was used to trim paperboard to various sizes for use in making boxes.
My trainer was a dude named Dennis Wells.
Dennis had a weird sense of humor and he liked to sing...the funny thing was he lacked several teeth in strategic areas of his mouth.
The song I remember the most is his rendition of the Beatles's classic, "Eight Days A Week."
Out of Dennis' mouth , it came out "Ate-Days-SA-wee."
That guy was funny as hell!
