My son just had a critical back surgery. I am asking all you guys to say a prayer for him.

RFD TV...

If you are a fan of country music and polkas(!) and such have I found a new TV channel for you. It is called "RFD TV" and it is channel 149 on Time Warner Cable. It is one of the most interesting channels I have ever came across. It shows classic programs like "The Porter Waggoner Show" and " Hee Haw." It also has a show called "Molly B's Polka Party" which is like an "American Bandstand-Polka Style." The channel also broadcasts farm reports, rodeos, and auto races. You will never know what you will find when you channel surf, will you?

Kentucky Is So Backwards...

Thanks in part to Kim Davis, Kentucky is about to add another piece to the "How- Backward- We- Are" puzzle. The State Senate is readying a bill for passage that will change the forms for new marriage licenses. There is a proposal for two forms. One will say "Bride and Groom", the other "First Party and Second Party." What the hell is going on? The Supreme Court has declared that all folks have the right to get married in this country and because one woman raised a stink, this is happening... When will the Commonwealth of Kentucky join the rest of America?

I Got "Olympic Fever!!!!"...

Started watching the 2012 Olympics on Saturday night and I now officially have "The Fever." The Games are an amazing test of strength and skill and they are way more then Men and Women's basketball. I watched a 16 year old girl beat a 49 year old woman at table tennis...I saw the women's USA beach volleyball team win...I watched a woman win her fifth gold medal of her career in skeet shooting (she hit 99 out of 100 skeets(!)...I watched an excellent USA women's gymnastic team... and this was only in two days! So believe me when I tell you, I have "The Fever."
